Who is this course for?
For individuals seeking emotional and mental self-care.
For those aiming to connect and understand their inner selves.
For people looking to overcome feelings of stagnation in life.
For anyone desiring to quiet their inner critics by embracing life's journey.
For those aspiring to develop a compassionate and healthy relationship with themselves.
“True self-compassion involves the ability to experience your critical, self-aggressive parts, see beyond what they do – all the ugly, undesirable behaviors – and develop a connected relationship with them.” (Richard Shwartz)
The content of this course is inspired by the work of Richard Shwartz and IFS (Internal Family Systems). This course is not a substitute to therapy, but rather a series of creative exercises to help you understand yourself better.
You can learn more about IFS here - https://ifs-institute.com/
Self Acceptance begins with accepting ALL parts of us, not just the parts we like
My goal is to facilitate a space where you can use creativity as a tool for self acceptance.
By identifying and visualizing the various PARTS of yourself, you can develop a healthier and more compassionate relationship to yourself.
“I've taken this workshop series twice. The weekly workshop, mid-week check-in's and practice sessions, the beautiful workbook and amazing community all contribute to the fullness of this experience.” –Amanda

Meet your host:
Hi! My name is Rukmini Poddar and I’m the author and artist behind Draw Your Feelings.
I’ve been drawing my own emotions since 2016 and teaching others to do the same. I work with teachers, therapists, corporate team leaders, and more.
I am a student of IFS (Internal Family Systems) and incorporate much of its philosophy into my work. Last year I studied with Coaching with Spirit and completed my Coaching with IFS 2: Deepening into Internal Family Systems certification.
I believe art is a profound tool for self discovery and healing and I’m excited to facilitate this 4-week journey of drawing our own inner parts. You can find out more about me here.
